About
Located in the heart of Brooklyn's Canarsie neighborhood at 8306 Flatlands Avenue, the oral surgery practice known as "Oral Surgery - All Insurances Accepted" stands as a vital healthcare pillar for the diverse communities of New York City. This practice is built on a foundational commitment to removing the significant financial and accessibility barriers that often prevent individuals from receiving essential oral and maxillofacial surgical care. For years, it has served the residents of Brooklyn and beyond, establishing itself not just as a clinical facility, but as a trusted partner in health for families, working professionals, and seniors who prioritize both quality and affordability. The practice's very name broadcasts its core mission: to provide high-caliber surgical expertise that is accessible to all, regardless of their insurance provider or financial circumstance.\n\nThe mission of this oral surgery center is deeply rooted in patient-centered care and community service. It operates on the principle that expert surgical intervention for dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, facial trauma, and complex tooth extractions should not be a luxury available only to those with specific insurance plans or substantial disposable income. The team is driven by a desire to alleviate pain, restore oral function, and improve the confidence and quality of life for every patient who walks through their doors. This ethos is reflected in every aspect of their operation, from the compassionate, multilingual staff who handle patient consultations and billing to the seasoned surgeons who utilize state-of-the-art technology in a comfortable, reassuring environment.\n\nWhat truly sets this Brooklyn practice apart is its unambiguous and comprehensive insurance policy. While many surgical specialists have limited networks or accept only a handful of insurance plans, this practice has structured its entire business model around acceptance. They work diligently with a vast array of insurance providers, including Medicaid, Medicare, and numerous private commercial plans, to ensure patients can focus on healing rather than financial distress. This approach demystifies the often-complex world of medical and dental insurance, providing transparent guidance and handling the bulk of the paperwork on the patient's behalf. This unique value proposition eliminates the common 'sticker shock' associated with specialized surgery, making critical procedures like bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, and treatment for oral pathology attainable for a much broader segment of the population.\n\nThe expertise within the practice is formidable. The lead oral and maxillofacial surgeons are highly trained professionals who have completed years of rigorous hospital-based surgical residencies, encompassing anesthesia, medicine, and surgical procedures related to the mouth, jaws, and face. Their skill set allows them to offer a full scope of practice, from routine outpatient procedures under safe, in-office sedation to more complex surgical management. The practice prides itself on staying at the forefront of technological advancements, employing digital imaging, 3D cone beam CT scans for precise implant planning, and minimally invasive surgical techniques that promote faster recovery and less postoperative discomfort.\n\nBeyond technical skill, the practice distinguishes itself through its cultural competence and community integration. Serving the diverse populace of Brooklyn requires sensitivity and understanding. The staff is adept at communicating with patients from various cultural backgrounds, ensuring that treatment plans are explained clearly and that patients feel heard and respected. The environment is designed to reduce anxiety, which is paramount in a surgical setting. This combination of top-tier surgical skill, a revolutionary insurance-access model, and genuine, empathetic patient care creates a holistic healthcare experience that is rare in specialized surgical fields. It is a practice defined not by exclusivity, but by inclusivity, making advanced oral surgery a universally accessible component of overall health and wellness for the community it proudly serves.

Customer Reviews
Originally had scheduled for a wisdom tooth removal consultation but they were able to perform the surgery the same day which was very convenient. They were also able to accommodate my 2 brothers with the same appointment. It was my first time meeting Dr. Etufugh and she's wonderful to talk to and is very responsive. The surgeries went well and I barely feel any pain which credits to her ability. Would love to become a regular.
These are scammers and have office on 2085 E 27th street Brooklyn, Ny 11229, brooklyn NY. They ask you to come on this address and tell every customer that they accept the insurance and Medicaid as well. For my mother, the suppose to get the approval to extract the tooth, but ask the insurance to give approval for bone graft to rebuild bone after tooth pulled out, it was denied by insurance and that was obvious. Their office is dirty and unhygienic as well. They are unprofessional don't go there. There should be a proper complain against these scammers and i will do that.
I am putting one star because I can't put 0. Incredibly unprofessional. I do no recommend to anyone! I do not know why they have a phone number if they never pick up and ask you to message them. When you message them, you don't get a reply in over a week. I asked for a report of my visit and was told to seek a second opinion. However what I asked for what the report of this first opinion because what was the point of me going then. Just save your time and money and go somewhere else to save your own mental health.
I am replying to the comment below. You did take our insurance because we were referred to you for that very reason. You made us sign documents that in the event of the insurance not accepting we would have to pay and his insurance was active, so don't try to look like a philanthropist when you're not. We are not negligent and we did not need a second opinion. The only thing we asked for was a report of what the specialist had said about not needing the procedure requested so that it can be sent over to the dentist. Instead we got a referral for another specialist that does the same thing you guys did. So what was the point of going to you guys in the first place, if we can get a simple report which he is legally entitled to because he was examined and he was given a response that the procedure was not needed and if we did not agree that we are entitled to a second opinion. We agreed with the specialist and ALL WE ASKED FOR was a report of the specialist findings. Don't call us ungrateful because no one is grateful for unprofessionalism and negligence to the calls and text messages afterwards. Don't waste people's time!
I went to the dentist today which was my 3rd time, counting my primary dentist visit who referred me here to Central Park south Dental a week prior- I was suppose to have my wisdom teeth removed and each time they sent me home after not doing any work on my teeth. the first time they told me that I needed a scan done and that they were unaware if the insurance would cover the scan. so we submitted the case and waited. I called a day before going back the third time to confirm the scan was approved and that I was good to come in and have the procedure done. Both the office and my insurance confirmed the scan was approved. well when I got there today I was informed that it was denied. I then confirmed who informed me and I notified who it was in the office and she also confirmed she did tell me that and that her computer was showing approved. Now I am being told that its a different scan and that it was not approved and I will have to pay $450 for the procedure. I then questioned what exactly am I paying for the procedure or the scan? I was informed the scan. confusing.I was also told this same price the first time I visited. I then asked what was going to happened with the scan that I just took 20mins ago. he said nothing will happen. so I asked him about the money spent on that scan today and how will this help me - no answer - I then asked so was the scan taken today $450? - no direct answer- as you can see its a lot of going back and fourth with no telling who is more informed or not. and even worst who's being honest. This place preys on the ignorant and weak. I would like to know what my insurance money was spent on having to go to this place 3 different times and being charged each time. I didnt even have to take my mask off the first time they diagnosed me.
If it was possible I would give them a 0 They’re so unprofessional
my daughter got the treatment done for canaling tooth on November they told us to wait 2 weeks or so to book another appointment for the next part of the canaling tooth. It’s now February and we had to call to book appointments which we did for January 20 they cancelled it apparently the doctor was in the ER and then we reschedule again because they said they would call us back but they didn’t. However for February 2nd they cancelled it again apparently doctor was still sick … I called again they make you wait just so you can book appointment
What’s also unacceptable is they automatically take your money from the bank but can’t even send a message when the transaction payment is done!?!?
I don’t recommend this place at all!!!
