Dr Alexander and Irene Bokser are truly the best out there. They are precise, gentle, extremely clean and know what they're doing. I really appreciate their honesty. I went in for my annual cleaning as well to fix up some of my older cavities. They are professional and treat you with kindness and respect. I would recommend them a million times over. Don't go anywhere else!!!
I highly recommend Dr. Bokser and cannot say enough good things about her and the entire team. I’ve always felt anxious about dental work, but they made me feel completely at ease from the moment I walked in. The office is centrally located, well-organized, and immaculately clean.
The front desk staff are warm, prompt, and professional, and their communication is always on point. My treatment plan was clearly explained, printed for my records, and included detailed estimates, ensuring everyone was on the same page. Appointments always started on time, and I never felt rushed.
Most importantly, the service and results I received were far superior to any dental care I’ve experienced elsewhere. Dr. Bokser is knowledgeable, thorough, and incredibly skilled, and the entire team goes above and beyond to make each visit positive and stress-free.

I had an emergency dental appointment scheduled at Precision Dental in Astoria, and I was pleased they offered Saturday appointments. However, my experience was disappointing. On the day of my appointment, they asked if I could come early, which I couldn’t, and when I arrived, the staff seemed confused or uninterested, giving me a strange look as if I wasn't supposed to be there.
The appointment itself was rushed—lasting only about five minutes. The dentist examined my tooth briefly and told me my previous dentist did a "horrible job," then simply told me to "work it out with your dentist," which I found baffling and unprofessional. As a medical provider myself, I believe in clear communication, transparency, and respecting patients' concerns. The lack of explanation and dismissive attitude felt unprofessional, and I felt discriminated against as a person of color.
Overall, I do not recommend Precision Dental Astoria based on this experience. I hope they work on improving their customer service and professionalism to ensure better care and respect for all patients.
