About

Progressive Endodontics, located at 980 Westfall Rd #210 in Rochester, New York, stands as a premier specialty dental practice dedicated exclusively to the art and science of endodontics—the diagnosis and treatment of dental pain and disease originating from the tooth's interior, commonly known as root canal therapy. Founded on the principle of merging advanced clinical expertise with compassionate, patient-centered care, the practice has established itself as a trusted referral destination for general dentists and a beacon of relief for patients throughout the Greater Rochester area and beyond. The philosophy at Progressive Endodontics is encapsulated in its name: a commitment to progressive, evidence-based techniques and technology that elevate the standard of care, ensuring predictable, comfortable, and successful outcomes for even the most complex cases. The practice is built upon the foundational belief that saving a natural tooth through precise endodontic treatment is almost always the best option for a patient's long-term oral and overall health. The environment is carefully designed to alleviate the anxiety often associated with dental procedures, featuring a modern, calm, and welcoming office where patient comfort and education are paramount. From the initial consultation, the team takes time to thoroughly explain diagnoses, walk patients through treatment options using state-of-the-art imaging, and answer all questions, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their care. The clinical team, led by highly skilled endodontists, possesses deep expertise in non-surgical root canal therapy, endodontic retreatment (to address previous procedures that have failed or become reinfected), and apicoectomies (surgical endodontics). They are particularly adept at managing traumatic dental injuries, diagnosing puzzling sources of oral-facial pain, and performing treatments on teeth with complex anatomy. What truly sets Progressive Endodontics apart is its unwavering dedication to technological integration. The practice is equipped with cutting-edge tools such as cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT), which provides detailed 3D imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, digital radiography for reduced radiation exposure, and operating microscopes that magnify the intricate root canal system, allowing for treatments of unparalleled precision. This technological prowess, combined with the clinicians' refined skill, minimizes treatment time, enhances success rates, and improves patient comfort. The practice's mission extends beyond treating immediate problems; it is focused on forming collaborative partnerships with referring dentists to ensure seamless continuity of care and on providing patients with a foundation for lasting dental wellness. In a field where precision is critical and patient apprehension is common, Progressive Endodontics distinguishes itself through a harmonious blend of expert human touch and leading-edge science, making it a definitive center of excellence for endodontic care in Rochester.

A patient of Dr. Singh, and all I can say is this was a pretty good experience for being in that kind of environment. The best part for me was I didn’t feel the shots to get the anesthesia, nor did it leave me very sore after it wore off! I can honestly appreciate the years of experience this office provides to their patients and the level of content they kept me in. The vibes were a plus, a little bit of R&B and good conversation never hurts during a procedure.

Awesome experience with Dr. Singh. He did a root canal through a crown and it went great. Not only a professional and expert endodontist, he is so smart and so fun to talk to ... wish I needed more root canals! (not really).

Dr Singh was very rude. I went in for a retreatment on a tooth. He told me that because he would not make enough money replacing my crown after retreating the root canal that I would have to go right to my dentist for a new crown. He also stated that I could have the tooth extracted and have an implant placed in. However he told me that because he won’t make any money off of that either so I have to go somewhere else. Seriously what kind of Dr tells someone that they are not making enough money off of them so they won’t help them?! Very unprofessional. My insurance clearly stated everything was covered 100% on everything!!!
