About

Rise Dental Studio, located at 1410 Broadway Suite 3004 in New York, NY 10018, stands as a beacon of comprehensive dental care in Midtown Manhattan's vibrant Fashion District. With over 40 years of service to the community, this distinguished practice—formerly known as Fashion District Dental—was founded by Dr. Justin Rashbaum's father, embodying a multigenerational commitment to oral health excellence[3][4][8]. Today, under the leadership of Dr. Justin Rashbaum, a top-ranked general and cosmetic dentist, Rise Dental Studio has evolved into a modern hub of 'smart dentistry,' blending cutting-edge techniques with personalized, patient-centered care that prioritizes trust, comfort, and long-term results[1][3].

The mission of Rise Dental Studio is rooted in giving rise to dependable, innovative dental solutions that support each patient's personal standard of oral health. Dr. Rashbaum and his team of highly qualified specialists believe in the comprehensive dentistry model, where general, cosmetic, orthodontic, periodontal, and endodontic services converge under one roof for seamless, holistic treatment[4][6]. This approach ensures that patients receive coordinated care without the hassle of multiple referrals, setting the practice apart in a city known for its fast-paced lifestyle. Unlike many urban dental offices that focus narrowly on one specialty, Rise Dental Studio offers a full spectrum of services, from routine cleanings and exams to advanced procedures like dental implants, veneers, Invisalign, root canals, and laser dentistry—all delivered with a focus on minimal discomfort, precision, and aesthetic outcomes[1][2][4].

Dr. Justin Rashbaum, the driving force behind the practice, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2008, followed by a rigorous General Practice Residency at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center in 2008-2009[2][5]. His expertise spans preventive care, restorations, cosmetic enhancements, and emergency treatments, employing state-of-the-art methods such as laser dentistry that often eliminates the need for anesthesia, sutures, or significant bleeding[1][2]. A Lumineers Certified Provider since 2010 and QVC spokesperson for the Supersmile Whitening System since 2012, Dr. Rashbaum brings celebrity-level polish to everyday dentistry, making professional whitening and smile makeovers accessible and effective[1][2]. His philosophy centers on patient education: every consultation involves detailed explanations of oral health conditions, treatment options, and customized plans tailored to individual needs and goals, empowering patients to make confident decisions[1][2].

What truly sets Rise Dental Studio apart is its exceptional team and unwavering patient focus. Complementing Dr. Rashbaum are specialists like Dr. Michael Abrams (orthodontist and periodontist), Dr. David Stein (periodontist), Dr. Maria Chatrzoulakis (prosthodontist and cosmetic dentist), Dr. Ashley Goldenberg (orthodontist and periodontist), and Dr. Patrick Ng-a-Fook (endodontist), each bringing niche expertise to create a collaborative environment that elevates care quality[4][6]. Active memberships in prestigious organizations—including the Academy of General Dentistry (2009), International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics (2011 Fellow), American Academy of Facial Esthetics (2011), and World Clinical Laser Institute (Associate Fellow)—underscore the practice's commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to the highest standards[1][2]. Recognition as a Castle Connolly Top Dentist further affirms Dr. Rashbaum's standing among New York's elite dental professionals[5].

Patients rave about the 'dependable dental care' where doctors remember you from visit to visit, fostering genuine relationships in an otherwise impersonal city setting[1][3]. The practice accepts most major PPO dental insurances, offers in-house and third-party financing, and provides online video visits for convenience[2]. Open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with Saturdays by appointment, Rise Dental Studio combines legacy tradition with modern innovation—laser precision, aesthetic mastery, and a family-like atmosphere—to deliver smiles that last. Whether addressing gum disease, straightening teeth, or crafting a Hollywood-worthy grin, this Midtown gem redefines dental excellence, proving that true oral health rises from smart, compassionate care[1][3][4]. I have been seeing Dr. Rashbaum since around 2020, and had some crowns done. I think he is very careful, thorough, and a wonderful dentist. I also brought my elderly mom a few years ago, and he was terrific. My mom had a lot of problems with her teeth and gums, and another dentist said there was nothing he could do. Dr. Rashbaum took 3-D scans of all her teeth and showed me many serious problems with gums and teeth that should be addressed. I was persuaded, and mom’s gums and teeth are ok now. ** Special shoutout to Dr. Stein, who made pulling teeth far less painful for my mom, dental assistants who are attentive and careful, and another big shoutout to administrative staff who I think are very smart. They carefully answered all my questions about insurance, and they knew about other options I had not heard of, such as dental savings plan. Office is close to subways, easy to get to midtown, and clean, if a little space efficient.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Rashbaum for years, ever since I first started working in Midtown in 2013. I now work out in Westchester and still make the trip into Manhattan for my regular cleanings. He and his team are professional, communicative, talented, and caring. He pays attention to the tiniest details, offers various treatment options, and is sensitive to coverage and costs. I know I’m always in good hands and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else, they’re the best!

I’m a dentist and used to practice in Manhattan, and Dr. Justin Rashbaum is the only dentist I refer to in the city. That should tell you something. Justin has strong integrity energy—he’s honest, conservative, informative, and truly skilled. He takes excellent care of my patients and has always treated them with the kind of respect and thoughtfulness that’s rare to find. He’s honorable and consistent, and I trust him completely. This is not only the kind of dentist you want, but the kind of practice owner you hope for as a patient.

It hurts to write a negative review, I never do, but it feels needed. I went in for a cleaning, and was told they also went and filled three cavities because "they were there and figured it was easier to just do" At the time I didn't think much of it because I agree, but realizing now how unprofessional it is to do without asking. I ended up paying much more than I expected going in because I was assuming a covered cleaning. I was also convinced that I needed an oral picturing, and overall was told "its now or never and will only get substantially worse" Turns out the pictures showed nothing and am perfectly fine. Overall did not help my trust issues with dentists.

My daughter went to get a cleaning and Rashbaum upsold her "fillings for decay". Not cavities. She thought it was the right thing to get done for prevention so she did. He charged $375 a tooth and treated 12 TEETH in one sitting. No anesthesia. When I called to ask for the chart notes, I asked if they informed her about the cost of this service and they said "She never asked." I expected more from a professional practice, especially when it comes to financial clarity and patient trust.
