About

Rise Dental Studio, located at 1410 Broadway Suite 3004 in New York, NY 10018, stands as a beacon of excellence in comprehensive dental care within Midtown Manhattan's vibrant Fashion District. Originally founded over 40 years ago as Fashion District Dental by Dr. Justin Rashbaum's father, this multigenerational family practice has evolved into a modern powerhouse of 'smart dentistry' under the leadership of Dr. Justin Rashbaum, a top-ranked general and cosmetic dentist.[1][3][4][5] The transition to Rise Dental Studio marked a bold rebranding initiative, symbolizing the rise of New York City post-pandemic, the uplifting confidence patients gain from healthy smiles, and the practice's commitment to care that elevates above the ordinary—all while perched atop a high-rise in the heart of the city.[3][5] This reimagined identity, supported by fresh branding, a new logo, website, and engaging photo-video content, reflects Dr. Rashbaum's vision to honor the legacy while propelling the practice into a future of innovation and patient-centered excellence.[5]

At the core of Rise Dental Studio's mission is the delivery of personalized, dependable dental care that patients can trust like a friend. Dr. Rashbaum, who earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 2008, followed by a General Practice Residency at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center, embodies this ethos.[2][6] His philosophy centers on patient education, ensuring every individual understands their oral health conditions, treatment options, and personalized plans tailored to unique needs for optimal outcomes.[1][2] What sets Rise Dental Studio apart is its comprehensive dentistry model, where a stellar team of specialists collaborates seamlessly: Dr. Rashbaum leads in general and cosmetic dentistry; Dr. Michael Abrams excels in orthodontics and periodontics; Dr. David Stein specializes in periodontics; Dr. Maria Chatrzoulakis (Dr. Chartz) shines in prosthodontics and cosmetics; and Dr. Ashley Goldenberg handles orthodontics and periodontics.[4][7] This multidisciplinary approach means patients receive holistic care under one roof, from routine cleanings to complex implants, without referrals.[4]

Services span preventative general dentistry—including exams, cleanings, fillings, and oral health education—to advanced cosmetic enhancements like teeth whitening, veneers, bonding, crowns, bridges, and Invisalign® orthodontics.[1][4] Dr. Rashbaum's expertise in state-of-the-art techniques, such as laser dentistry for painless restorations and surgeries without anesthesia or sutures, root canals, dental emergencies, and implants, ensures the safest, most effective treatments.[1][2] As a Lumineers Certified Provider since 2010 and QVC spokesperson for Supersmile Whitening System since 2012—founded by the father of aesthetic dentistry, Dr. Irwin Smigel—Dr. Rashbaum brings celebrity-level proficiency in smile makeovers.[1][2] His active memberships in prestigious organizations, including the Academy of General Dentistry (2009), International Academy for Dental Facial Esthetics (Fellow, 2011), American Academy of Facial Esthetics (2011), and Associate Fellow of the World Clinical Laser Institute, underscore his commitment to continuous professional growth and cutting-edge practices.[1][2]

Rise Dental Studio distinguishes itself through unwavering patient focus: a dentist who remembers you from your last visit, alleviating anxiety with gentle bedside manner, and providing clear information without oversimplification.[3] Accepting most major PPO dental insurances, offering in-house and third-party financing, online video visits, and flexible hours (Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-5:30 PM, Saturdays by appointment), the practice prioritizes accessibility.[2][7] Recognition as a Castle Connolly Top Dentist further validates Dr. Rashbaum's standing among New York's elite.[6] In an industry often marked by impersonal chains, Rise Dental Studio rises above with its family-rooted trust, technological prowess, specialist synergy, and genuine relationships—empowering patients to achieve not just healthy mouths, but radiant confidence. Whether addressing gum disease, jaw alignment, or aesthetic aspirations, this practice delivers transformative care that feels personal and precise, making it the premier choice for Midtown Manhattan's discerning smiles.[1][3][4]

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Rashbaum for years, ever since I first started working in Midtown in 2013. I now work out in Westchester and still make the trip into Manhattan for my regular cleanings. He and his team are professional, communicative, talented, and caring. He pays attention to the tiniest details, offers various treatment options, and is sensitive to coverage and costs. I know I’m always in good hands and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else, they’re the best!

I’m a dentist and used to practice in Manhattan, and Dr. Justin Rashbaum is the only dentist I refer to in the city. That should tell you something. Justin has strong integrity energy—he’s honest, conservative, informative, and truly skilled. He takes excellent care of my patients and has always treated them with the kind of respect and thoughtfulness that’s rare to find. He’s honorable and consistent, and I trust him completely. This is not only the kind of dentist you want, but the kind of practice owner you hope for as a patient.

I have been going to this dental practice for about 8 years now. They are extremely knowledgeable. All the staff make you very comfortable. Dr. Justin always gives me the best advice and my teeth and gum have become very healthy under their treatment. Dr. Abraham is the best dental surgeon. He removed three of my wisdom teeth and recovery has been very quick. They always saw me on time, never have I had to wait more than 10-15 minutes and even then it's rare. They are also transparently about billings. I will highly recommend!

It hurts to write a negative review, I never do, but it feels needed. I went in for a cleaning, and was told they also went and filled three cavities because "they were there and figured it was easier to just do" At the time I didn't think much of it because I agree, but realizing now how unprofessional it is to do without asking. I ended up paying much more than I expected going in because I was assuming a covered cleaning. I was also convinced that I needed an oral picturing, and overall was told "its now or never and will only get substantially worse" Turns out the pictures showed nothing and am perfectly fine. Overall did not help my trust issues with dentists.

My daughter went to get a cleaning and Rashbaum upsold her "fillings for decay". Not cavities. She thought it was the right thing to get done for prevention so she did. He charged $375 a tooth and treated 12 TEETH in one sitting. No anesthesia. When I called to ask for the chart notes, I asked if they informed her about the cost of this service and they said "She never asked." I expected more from a professional practice, especially when it comes to financial clarity and patient trust.
