About

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Tribeca at 321 Greenwich Street, Ritual Dental stands as a paradigm-shifting dental practice, redefining oral healthcare through a harmonious blend of cutting-edge science, holistic wellness principles, and an unparalleled patient experience. Founded on the belief that dental care should be a seamless, positive, and integral part of one's overall health journey, Ritual Dental transcends the traditional clinical model to create a sanctuary of wellness. The practice was born from a desire to address the common anxieties associated with dental visits and to bridge the often-overlooked connection between oral health and systemic well-being. Its philosophy is encapsulated in its name—'Ritual'—suggesting a mindful, consistent, and revered practice of self-care, where dental maintenance is not a dreaded obligation but a valued component of a healthy lifestyle.

The mission of Ritual Dental is to provide exceptional, evidence-based dental care in an environment that prioritizes patient comfort, education, and holistic health. The practice operates on the core principle that every patient is unique, requiring personalized care plans that consider not just their teeth and gums, but their overall physical and emotional state. This patient-centric approach is evident from the moment one steps into their thoughtfully designed space, which more closely resembles a serene, upscale lounge than a sterile medical office. Soothing aesthetics, calming amenities, and a warm, attentive staff work in concert to alleviate stress and build trusting, long-term relationships.

What truly sets Ritual Dental apart is its integration of holistic dentistry within a framework of advanced general and cosmetic dentistry. The doctors and hygienists are not only experts in their clinical fields but are also deeply knowledgeable about the oral-systemic link—how inflammation from periodontal disease can affect heart health, diabetes, and pregnancy outcomes, for instance. Their expertise extends to areas such as biocompatible material choices, airway-focused dentistry (addressing sleep-disordered breathing like sleep apnea), and the management of TMJ disorders. They employ state-of-the-art technology, including digital scanning (eliminating messy impressions), low-radiation digital X-rays, and intraoral cameras for patient education, to deliver precise, efficient, and minimally invasive treatments.

The unique value proposition of Ritual Dental lies in its three-pillar foundation: Advanced Clinical Excellence, Holistic Mindfulness, and a Transformative Patient Experience. They offer a comprehensive range of services, from meticulous preventive care and minimally invasive restorations to stunning cosmetic makeovers and specialized treatments, all delivered with a conscientious approach to the body as a whole. The practice distinguishes itself through its commitment to transparency, taking ample time for consultations to discuss all options and empower patients to make informed decisions. In a city with no shortage of dental providers, Ritual Dental has carved out a distinct niche as a destination for those who seek not just dental work, but a collaborative partnership in health, delivered with sophistication, compassion, and a deep respect for the individual. It is more than a dental office; it is a curated wellness experience dedicated to elevating both the health and the confidence of its Tribeca community and beyond.

Because there are approximately 30 dental offices per square mile in Tribeca, I had to write a review and say I LOVE this dental office. (An admittedly insane thing to say). However, the service at Ritual is so thorough and informative that I cant help but think it’s so great. The dental hygienists are SO lovely and they take an incredible amount of time and care with each patient. (Seriously they are so good I asked them if I could come in monthly just to get a super deep cleaning……. they said that wasn’t necessary so sticking with my every 6 months for now, but they really do rock).

After years of avoiding the dentist at all costs, I have FINALLY found my place. Ritual Dental is so clean, soothing, educational, professional, and relaxing—I have done a full mental 180° and would willingly come back weekly to get my teeth cleaned here. I can’t stop raving to all of my friends and family members about Ritual because everyone kinda doesn’t like their dentist but I LOVE mine!! AJ gave me the absolute best tooth and gum cleaning I have ever received, my teeth still feel amazing over a week later. Truly wish more places offered such wonderful and transparent care. Hopefully I make it to 30 without any cavities.

UPDATE: Since leaving this review, things changed - the dentist reached out to me multiple times to check on me and I had a follow-up visit to make sure everything was fine. On top of that, they forwarded a detailed report of my CT scan. Perhaps the below was just a once time isolated incident. I got two wisdom teeth removed at ritual dental and was really disappointed by the experience. After the procedure, I was given no real guidance - no information on what to eat, what to avoid, or how to care for the extraction sites - all they said is "avoid crunchy food and maybe try to bite on the other side from the extraction". Within five minutes of getting home, one of my stitches came out after I sneezed. When I went back, they told me I should’ve sneezed with my mouth open - something they never mentioned beforehand.. They said to reach out by phone or email for any issues, but when I developed a fever and worsening pain over the next three days, no one responded. Emails were ignored, and every phone call went straight to voicemail. The clinic looks nice and modern, but that doesn’t make up for poor communication and lack of basic post-op care. For something as serious as a tooth extraction, I’d rather go to an old-school oral surgeon who’s actually responsive and professional. I wouldn’t recommend going here for surgical procedures

Absolutely lovely people work here, however their billing department needs help. I got fillings in January of 2025 and now in January of 2026 they are asking me to pay more money due to "insurance underpayment"...... which they knew about since February 2025. Unacceptable to not notify the patient of an issue until over a year later. On top of that, you will wait 20-30 mins in the waiting room past your scheduled appointment time. And they will pressure you into getting fluoride when you don't want it. Much better options out there.

The receptionist here is beyond… not great…she mixed up my insurance with another person’s insurance. The white receptionist…she’s combative, rude, and a clutz. Idk if she’s the only one but I’m telling everyone from my job not to come here. Which sucks because we are so close, but I’m officially over this. It used to be great but of course there has to be that one person that ruins the experience. Sucks to suck
