About
Ritual Dental, situated in the historic and vibrant Tribeca neighborhood of New York City at 321 Greenwich Street, represents a paradigm shift in modern dental care. Founded on the principle that oral health is intrinsically linked to overall wellness and personal confidence, this practice has redefined the dental experience by merging clinical excellence with a serene, spa-like environment and a deeply personalized, patient-centered philosophy. More than just a dental office, Ritual Dental is a sanctuary dedicated to the art and science of holistic dentistry, where every detail—from the curated ambiance to the compassionate communication—is designed to alleviate anxiety and foster lifelong relationships built on trust.
The history of Ritual Dental is rooted in its founders' vision to challenge the often-impersonal and clinical nature of traditional dental visits. Recognizing that fear and discomfort keep many individuals from seeking essential care, they sought to create a practice that felt more like a retreat than a medical appointment. Since its establishment, Ritual Dental has grown into a cornerstone of the Tribeca community, attracting discerning patients who value not only outstanding clinical outcomes but also an unparalleled level of comfort and attention. Their mission is unequivocal: to provide exceptional, comprehensive dental care in an environment that promotes relaxation, transparency, and genuine well-being. They believe in treating the whole person, not just the tooth, and this ethos permeates every interaction and treatment plan.
What truly sets Ritual Dental apart is its unique value proposition, which rests on three pillars: an exceptional patient experience, a holistic diagnostic approach, and cutting-edge technology. The moment a patient steps into their meticulously designed space—featuring warm, minimalist decor, soothing lighting, and thoughtful amenities—the standard dental anxiety begins to dissolve. The team invests significant time in listening, educating, and co-creating treatment plans that align with each patient's health goals, lifestyle, and values. Their expertise spans the full spectrum of general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry, but it is their mastery of complex full-mouth rehabilitations, implant dentistry, and aesthetic smile design that has solidified their reputation. The dentists at Ritual Dental are not merely technicians; they are artists and engineers who consider the functional harmony, aesthetic balance, and long-term health of the entire oral system.
Furthermore, Ritual Dental distinguishes itself through its commitment to using the most advanced technology available, such as digital scanners, cone-beam CT imaging, and laser dentistry, which enhances precision, comfort, and efficiency. This technological edge, combined with a curated network of top-tier dental labs, ensures results that are both beautiful and durable. The practice’s emphasis on biocompatible materials and minimally invasive techniques further underscores its holistic philosophy. In a city filled with dental options, Ritual Dental stands out as a destination for those who refuse to compromise—for patients who seek a collaborative partnership with their care providers in a setting that feels both luxurious and genuinely caring. It is a place where dental care is transformed into a ritual of self-care, empowering patients to achieve and maintain optimal health with confidence and ease.

Customer Reviews
Because there are approximately 30 dental offices per square mile in Tribeca, I had to write a review and say I LOVE this dental office. (An admittedly insane thing to say). However, the service at Ritual is so thorough and informative that I cant help but think it’s so great. The dental hygienists are SO lovely and they take an incredible amount of time and care with each patient. (Seriously they are so good I asked them if I could come in monthly just to get a super deep cleaning……. they said that wasn’t necessary so sticking with my every 6 months for now, but they really do rock).
After years of avoiding the dentist at all costs, I have FINALLY found my place. Ritual Dental is so clean, soothing, educational, professional, and relaxing—I have done a full mental 180° and would willingly come back weekly to get my teeth cleaned here. I can’t stop raving to all of my friends and family members about Ritual because everyone kinda doesn’t like their dentist but I LOVE mine!! AJ gave me the absolute best tooth and gum cleaning I have ever received, my teeth still feel amazing over a week later. Truly wish more places offered such wonderful and transparent care. Hopefully I make it to 30 without any cavities.
UPDATE: Since leaving this review, things changed - the dentist reached out to me multiple times to check on me and I had a follow-up visit to make sure everything was fine. On top of that, they forwarded a detailed report of my CT scan. Perhaps the below was just a once time isolated incident.
I got two wisdom teeth removed at ritual dental and was really disappointed by the experience. After the procedure, I was given no real guidance - no information on what to eat, what to avoid, or how to care for the extraction sites - all they said is "avoid crunchy food and maybe try to bite on the other side from the extraction". Within five minutes of getting home, one of my stitches came out after I sneezed. When I went back, they told me I should’ve sneezed with my mouth open - something they never mentioned beforehand..
They said to reach out by phone or email for any issues, but when I developed a fever and worsening pain over the next three days, no one responded. Emails were ignored, and every phone call went straight to voicemail.
The clinic looks nice and modern, but that doesn’t make up for poor communication and lack of basic post-op care. For something as serious as a tooth extraction, I’d rather go to an old-school oral surgeon who’s actually responsive and professional. I wouldn’t recommend going here for surgical procedures
Absolutely lovely people work here, however their billing department needs help. I got fillings in January of 2025 and now in January of 2026 they are asking me to pay more money due to "insurance underpayment"...... which they knew about since February 2025.
Unacceptable to not notify the patient of an issue until over a year later.
On top of that, you will wait 20-30 mins in the waiting room past your scheduled appointment time. And they will pressure you into getting fluoride when you don't want it. Much better options out there.
The receptionist here is beyond… not great…she mixed up my insurance with another person’s insurance. The white receptionist…she’s combative, rude, and a clutz. Idk if she’s the only one but I’m telling everyone from my job not to come here. Which sucks because we are so close, but I’m officially over this. It used to be great but of course there has to be that one person that ruins the experience. Sucks to suck
