About
Ritual Dental, nestled in the vibrant Tribeca neighborhood at 321 Greenwich Street, represents a paradigm shift in oral healthcare, redefining the dental experience from a clinical necessity to a holistic wellness ritual. Founded on the principle that oral health is inextricably linked to overall well-being, this practice transcends traditional dentistry by creating a serene, patient-centered environment where advanced clinical expertise meets unparalleled comfort and mindfulness. The philosophy of Ritual Dental is built upon the belief that every visit should be a positive, calming, and empowering experience, thereby dismantling the anxiety often associated with dental care.
From its inception, Ritual Dental has been driven by a mission to deliver exceptional, comprehensive dentistry while fostering deep, trusting relationships with its patients. The practice serves the discerning residents of Lower Manhattan and beyond, catering to individuals and families who value a meticulous, personalized approach to health. The team, led by highly skilled dentists, views each patient as a unique partner in their healthcare journey. This collaborative model ensures that treatment plans are not only tailored to address immediate dental needs but are also aligned with long-term health goals and aesthetic desires.
What fundamentally sets Ritual Dental apart is its immersive atmosphere and patient-centric ethos. The clinic's design is a deliberate departure from sterile dental offices, featuring warm, organic materials, soft lighting, and a tranquil ambiance that more closely resembles a high-end spa. Patients are offered amenities such as noise-canceling headphones, weighted blankets, and curated refreshments to ensure profound relaxation. This attention to sensory detail underscores their commitment to patient comfort, making preventative care and routine maintenance something to be anticipated rather than avoided.
The expertise at Ritual Dental is comprehensive, spanning the full spectrum of general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. The practitioners are not only adept at employing the latest digital technologies—including intraoral scanners, digital X-rays, and CAD/CAM same-day crowns—but they do so with an artist's eye for detail, particularly in cosmetic procedures. Their preventive philosophy is robust, emphasizing patient education and minimally invasive techniques to preserve natural tooth structure. A significant pillar of their practice is a focus on the connection between oral systemic health, screening for and addressing issues like sleep apnea, bruxism (teeth grinding), and the oral manifestations of systemic conditions.
Ritual Dental’s unique value proposition is a blend of cutting-edge technology, holistic health integration, and an uncompromising dedication to the patient experience. They distinguish themselves through a consultative, no-rush approach, ensuring patients fully understand their options. Furthermore, the practice is known for its meticulous craftsmanship, often collaborating with top-tier dental laboratories to achieve aesthetically flawless and durable results. In a city saturated with dental practices, Ritual Dental carves out a niche as a sanctuary of oral health, where clinical excellence is delivered with empathy, transparency, and a deep respect for the individual. It is more than a dental office; it is a destination for those seeking to invest in their health through a practice that treats care as a mindful ritual.

Customer Reviews
Because there are approximately 30 dental offices per square mile in Tribeca, I had to write a review and say I LOVE this dental office. (An admittedly insane thing to say). However, the service at Ritual is so thorough and informative that I cant help but think it’s so great. The dental hygienists are SO lovely and they take an incredible amount of time and care with each patient. (Seriously they are so good I asked them if I could come in monthly just to get a super deep cleaning……. they said that wasn’t necessary so sticking with my every 6 months for now, but they really do rock).
After years of avoiding the dentist at all costs, I have FINALLY found my place. Ritual Dental is so clean, soothing, educational, professional, and relaxing—I have done a full mental 180° and would willingly come back weekly to get my teeth cleaned here. I can’t stop raving to all of my friends and family members about Ritual because everyone kinda doesn’t like their dentist but I LOVE mine!! AJ gave me the absolute best tooth and gum cleaning I have ever received, my teeth still feel amazing over a week later. Truly wish more places offered such wonderful and transparent care. Hopefully I make it to 30 without any cavities.
UPDATE: Since leaving this review, things changed - the dentist reached out to me multiple times to check on me and I had a follow-up visit to make sure everything was fine. On top of that, they forwarded a detailed report of my CT scan. Perhaps the below was just a once time isolated incident.
I got two wisdom teeth removed at ritual dental and was really disappointed by the experience. After the procedure, I was given no real guidance - no information on what to eat, what to avoid, or how to care for the extraction sites - all they said is "avoid crunchy food and maybe try to bite on the other side from the extraction". Within five minutes of getting home, one of my stitches came out after I sneezed. When I went back, they told me I should’ve sneezed with my mouth open - something they never mentioned beforehand..
They said to reach out by phone or email for any issues, but when I developed a fever and worsening pain over the next three days, no one responded. Emails were ignored, and every phone call went straight to voicemail.
The clinic looks nice and modern, but that doesn’t make up for poor communication and lack of basic post-op care. For something as serious as a tooth extraction, I’d rather go to an old-school oral surgeon who’s actually responsive and professional. I wouldn’t recommend going here for surgical procedures
Absolutely lovely people work here, however their billing department needs help. I got fillings in January of 2025 and now in January of 2026 they are asking me to pay more money due to "insurance underpayment"...... which they knew about since February 2025.
Unacceptable to not notify the patient of an issue until over a year later.
On top of that, you will wait 20-30 mins in the waiting room past your scheduled appointment time. And they will pressure you into getting fluoride when you don't want it. Much better options out there.
The receptionist here is beyond… not great…she mixed up my insurance with another person’s insurance. The white receptionist…she’s combative, rude, and a clutz. Idk if she’s the only one but I’m telling everyone from my job not to come here. Which sucks because we are so close, but I’m officially over this. It used to be great but of course there has to be that one person that ruins the experience. Sucks to suck
