I initially wasn’t going to write a review for this office, but after everything we’ve been through, I felt this one was deserved. I’ll be honest, our very first visit left me a little unsure. As a mom bringing my 3 year old to a pediatric dental office, I was hoping for a warmer, more compassionate experience. At the time, the interaction with the Doctor felt very business like and a bit robotic to me, and I left wondering if this was the right office for us. However, I decided to return and what made me come back was everyone else. The front desk staff and assistants were so kind, welcoming, and patient that I decided to give the practice another chance. I’m glad I did because our second visit went much better. Then came every parent’s nightmare… my son fell off the monkey bars and severely injured his two front teeth. We needed an emergency appointment, and Carolyn at the front desk was absolutely amazing. She worked us in as quickly as possible, accommodated us, and made an incredibly stressful situation feel manageable. She is so sweet, and you can tell she truly enjoys helping families. I will always be grateful for her kindness that day. I also have to recognize Tameka, who has been wonderful every single visit. She’s patient, compassionate, and always makes my son feel comfortable. Having staff members like her makes such a difference. And lastly, I have to give Dr. Findlay the credit she deserves. This experience completely changed my perspective. Unfortunately, my son’s teeth couldn’t be saved, but she handled everything with so much care. She gently rubbed his gums while the anesthetic was working, softly sang to him to keep him calm, and treated him with so much patience. As a mom, watching your child have teeth extracted is heartbreaking, but she made the experience as gentle as it possibly could have been. She removed both teeth in what felt like under a minute, and her confidence and efficiency were incredibly reassuring. Thank you to everyone at the office for taking such good care of my little boy during one of the scariest moments we’ve experienced. I’m thankful we gave this office another chance, because they’ve absolutely earned our trust.
Was shocked to discover my 7 year old daughter had 6 cavities SMH. It took two sessions but 3 fillings, 2 silver crowns & 1 tooth extraction later and her mouth is healthy again. Dr Dharia's patience & professionalism kept my baby girl & I stay mentally strong when things started to get ruff.
They are very patient and kind to the children. My son (2) hates going to the dentist and struggles with the cleaning every time. But the staff is used to it and professionally does their best. They offer a free toy from the final machine as a treat afterwords that he looks forward to. But some of the coin slots need to be fixed.
My son had two teeth extracted by Dr. Finlay and she did it pain free and so quickly. She explained everything to the both of us and she is professional and lovely.
I give this place a 3 star because of Dr Dionne Finley the pediatric dental in general has an amazing staff and very sweet reception team but for Ms Finley she has no sympathy when it comes to working with parents or their schedule. If you are working with children specifically Autistic Children you have to be patient and understanding that dental visits for them are very traumatic and for her to sit there and tell me she has to do everything in one day to a child is a no go for me. And If a parent is willing to spread appointments up to better experience the child then that’s how it should go in my opinion. I will come back but with a totally different doctor.
