I was a patient of another dentist whom I absolutely adored for 15 years. When he retired, he referred me to Dr. Talib. Given my complicated dental history due to TMJ—which has resulted in crowns, root canals, and implants in three-quarters of my mouth—I was understandably apprehensive about switching to someone new. I can honestly say it was the most amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the state-of-the-art equipment and imaging—unlike anything I’ve seen before. Even more impressive was the warmth, professionalism, and genuine care shown by Dr. Talib and his entire team. I came in for a cleaning, which Dr. Talib performed himself, using advanced technology that clearly showed exactly where plaque was present. The level of precision and attention to detail was extraordinary. I am so very grateful to have found this practice and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Such an incredible team, I spent the last year working on my TMJ with Dr. Mello through Botox, Invisalign, and now a night guard. This has been absolutely life changing from the amount of daily pain I used to experience. Her whole team is so kind, patient, and understanding. I’ve also had my front tooth bonding redone by Dr. Mello, she’s seriously an artist. Can’t recommend this practice enough

Dr. Elisa Mello is amazing. I feel safe with her. Growing up in the foster care system I unfortunately didn't get the best health and dental treatment. Also with being in the system and in abusive homes had to suffer physical trauma to my face. I always felt insecure about my teeth until I met Dr. Mello. She showed me so much care and concern about making me feel safe and important. I have gotten so many compliments on ny veneers and my smile. She explains everything she is doing as well as options to help fix any of the issues I might have. I also want to say how much I love her remembering our convos considering the amount of patients she has. I usually wouldn't get so personal in a review but wanted to really express what a difference she has made and the care she has given me.

Amazing service at NYC Smile Design! I been a patient for over 30 years and I can honestly say that I really enjoy going to my dentist. Dr Tabib and Dr Mello make a great team with a lot of creativity and a fabulous “chair side” manner. I highly recommend them for any dental procedure and especially for cosmetic dentistry.

I came in for what I thought was just a filling and had the pleasure of also being treated for several adjacent teeth which I didn't know needed attention. Dr t a b b i not only had the awareness to spot my other problem areas but the initiative to take X-rays and immediately do what needed to be done to cure them. I then asked his opinion on a 27-year-old Bridge I have, and again he immediately took x-rays and spotted two cavities on the two teeth that hold the bridge. He then discussed the possible procedural remedy options and kindly fielded my many questions. he mentioned he would like to further scrutinize my prognosis with his partner. So I left the office Feeling Fabulous about having a whole area of my teeth in perfect shape as well as appreciating the fact that I was going to have a second opinion from another excellent dentist, Dr m e l l o. Incidentally she has also worked on me and has an excellent touch. So it was like having two dentists give my condition consideration rather than just one. That's the high level of care you can expect at their practice.
