About

Tree House Pediatric and Adult Dentistry, located at 467 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY 10024, stands as a premier dental practice dedicated to delivering exceptional, conservative care for patients spanning from young children to adults. Nestled in the heart of New York's Upper West Side, this family-friendly office combines a highly personalized approach with cutting-edge technology to create a welcoming, stress-free environment where patients feel truly at home. What began as a vision to revolutionize pediatric dentistry has evolved into a comprehensive practice that bridges the gap between child and adult oral health, emphasizing prevention, education, and comfort above all else.[1][3][6]

The history of Tree House is rooted in the passion of its board-certified pediatric dentists, including Dr. Evan Cyrkin, who brings a wealth of expertise honed through rigorous training. Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Dr. Cyrkin graduated cum laude from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine before completing a General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. There, he developed specialized skills in trauma management, oral surgery, and pediatrics, culminating in his certification by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Affiliated with prestigious institutions like The Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai St. Luke’s, Dr. Cyrkin practices at both the Amsterdam Avenue location and a secondary site at 146 W 83rd Street, ensuring accessibility for Upper West Side families.[5] The practice has grown under the guidance of such dedicated professionals, fostering a team that includes energetic hygienists and assistants like Ms. Andrea, who provide calm, loving care to make every visit enjoyable.[2]

At its core, Tree House's mission is to promote lifelong oral health through a conservative philosophy that prioritizes prevention over invasive treatments. For children, this means tailored preventative strategies that account for age, behavior, dental findings, parental preferences, and cultural sensitivities. Parents remain present during appointments, building trust and rapport while doctors coach families on hygiene habits essential for healthy smiles. The office transforms routine check-ups into fun adventures, complete with favorite movies and a relaxed 'tree house' ambiance that eases dental anxiety—especially for little ones and those with special needs.[1][2][6] Dr. Cyrkin and his colleagues, praised in patient reviews for their reassuring demeanor and thorough explanations, ensure positive first experiences that set the stage for lifetime dental confidence.[5]

Extending this ethos to adults, Tree House offers personalized, unrushed services in routine, preventative, and cosmetic dentistry. Using the highest quality materials and advanced technology, the small, talented team delivers clinical excellence in a one-on-one setting. Common procedures include crowns, fillings, root canals, wisdom tooth management, and consultations, all approached with the same down-to-earth, thorough care that defines the practice.[4][5] What truly sets Tree House apart is its unique value proposition: a unified space where pediatric and adult dentistry converge under one roof, eliminating the need for multiple providers. Unlike larger, impersonal clinics, this boutique practice maintains a 'friendly, safe, and fun' atmosphere for kids alongside sophisticated adult care, all delivered by a cohesive team that treats every patient like family.[1][3][4]

The expertise here is unparalleled, with providers like Dr. Cyrkin boasting hospital affiliations and board certifications that underscore their commitment to excellence. Patient testimonials highlight the calming bedside manner, flexibility in treatment planning, and welcoming staff, making Tree House a top choice for New York families seeking quality without compromise.[5] By focusing on education—sharing how oral health impacts feeding, speech, breathing, and overall well-being—the practice empowers patients to take control of their smiles. Whether it's a child's first visit or an adult's cosmetic enhancement, Tree House Pediatric and Adult Dentistry distinguishes itself through genuine attentiveness, conservative innovation, and an unwavering belief that dental care should be enjoyable, not dreaded. In a city brimming with options, Tree House rises above as the go-to destination for holistic, compassionate dentistry that nurtures smiles across generations.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

We are so happy we found Dr Evan! Our 5-year-old has always been apprehensive about going to the dentist, and after her first visit here we can honestly say that has changed. She left her first visit happy and cheerful, and when she needed to go back for dental work the next day she was happy to go. During the hour-long procedure Dr Evan and his team made her feel relaxed the entire time. She left the office making jokes with Dr Evan and feeling great. We know we are in good hands here, and we can’t imagine going anywhere else.

The team at Tree House is everything you could want from a local small business and dentist. They take great care of our mouths and teeth and they treat my whole family with the utmost kindness. At my children's most recent appointment, due to a last minute funeral I showed up with not only my children, but several of my nephews (all kids 10 and under). Dr. Evan and his team were nonplussed and deftly saw all of my children while happily chatting and engaging with the whole gaggle of kids. Everyone was unbelievably considerate and demonstrated what it means to really provide top-notch customer service. Thank you again to the whole team.

Dr. Evan is the best! He came recommended by a friend who also brings his three kids to his practice. I was in need of a second opinion of dental treatment, as my three year old son needed a fair amount of intense dental work. Our entire experience could not have gone more smoothly. Dr.Evan and Liz befriended my son right away and made him feel comfortable (toys, tv, tokens, explaining what they were doing every step of the way), which is not an easy task at the dentist! Dr. Evan took his time explaining his plan and our potential options during our first visit. When we returned to his office, I felt informed and knew my son was under excellent care. Dr. Evan and Liz worked at an easy pace and were able to complete all of the dental work he had proposed. He let me know what to expect subsequent to our visit and made himself available for any of my questions. I am so happy with the care my son received and feel very lucky to have found Dr. Evan and his kind team!

Everyone is very friendly, place is clean and pretty, and kids enjoyed their visit, however, they missed nerve damage to my kid’s tooth that required a root canal and never replied to the endodontist when contacted to seal the root canal. They chipped a tiny piece of my molar during cleaning and also urged me to get a crown, which upon two separate second opinions, and 2 years later has not been needed. This doesn’t mean that your experience won’t be great though.
