About

Tree House Pediatric and Adult Dentistry, located at 467 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY 10024, stands as a premier dental practice dedicated to delivering exceptional, conservative care for patients spanning from young children to adults. With an additional location at 146 W 83rd St, this family-friendly practice has carved out a niche in the heart of New York City's Upper West Side by prioritizing prevention, personalized attention, and a welcoming environment that transforms dental visits into positive experiences. While specific founding dates remain undisclosed in available records, the practice's emphasis on a 'highly conservative approach' suggests a longstanding commitment to minimally invasive treatments, fostering trust among families who seek reliable, down-to-earth dental care.[1][2][5][6] The mission of Tree House Dentistry is clear: to provide top-notch dental services in a friendly, safe, and fun atmosphere for children, while extending quality, personalized conservative dentistry to adults. This dual focus sets it apart, as many pediatric practices do not offer comprehensive adult services under one roof, ensuring seamless family care without the need for multiple providers.[2][4][5] For pediatric patients, the practice excels in creating engaging visits tailored to each child's unique needs, considering age, behavior, dental findings, parental preferences, and cultural sensitivities. Parents remain present during appointments, building rapport and prioritizing comfort, which leads to happy, easy visits every time. Services emphasize prevention through clinical resources, coaching, and lifelong healthy habit education, addressing not just cavities and oral disease but foundational aspects like feeding, speech, breathing, and overall well-being.[3][6] Adult care mirrors this philosophy, offering routine, preventative, and cosmetic services in unrushed, one-on-one sessions with doctors, utilizing the highest quality materials and advanced technology for clinical excellence. Patients can relax with favorite movies, underscoring the practice's patient-centric ethos.[5] What truly distinguishes Tree House is its small, talented team of practitioners who deliver thorough, attentive care as if each patient were family. Led by passionate professionals like those highlighted in team profiles—such as a pediatric specialist who trained at prestigious institutions including the University of Southern California and Children's Hospital of OC—the team communicates in ways children and parents appreciate, encouraging hygiene habits and proper smile care.[3] The energetic, enthusiastic staff, including dental assistants who provide calming patience, creates a nurturing space where kids feel safe and welcomed. Open Monday through Friday from 9AM to 6PM, Saturdays until 3PM, and closed Sundays, the practice accommodates busy family schedules with easy appointment options via phone, email, or online forms.[1] Contactable at (646) 389-8055 or info@treehousedentalnyc.com, Tree House invites families to experience dentistry done differently—conservative, educational, and joyful. In a city filled with high-volume clinics, Tree House's unique value proposition lies in its intimate scale, preventive focus, and unwavering personalization, making it the go-to choice for lifelong oral health. Whether addressing a child's first check-up or an adult's cosmetic needs, this practice ensures every visit contributes to healthier smiles and stronger family bonds. By blending pediatric expertise with adult services in a fun, relaxed setting, Tree House Pediatric and Adult Dentistry redefines dental care, proving that quality dentistry can be both effective and enjoyable.[1][2][3][4][5][6]

We are so happy we found Dr Evan! Our 5-year-old has always been apprehensive about going to the dentist, and after her first visit here we can honestly say that has changed. She left her first visit happy and cheerful, and when she needed to go back for dental work the next day she was happy to go. During the hour-long procedure Dr Evan and his team made her feel relaxed the entire time. She left the office making jokes with Dr Evan and feeling great. We know we are in good hands here, and we can’t imagine going anywhere else.

The team at Tree House is everything you could want from a local small business and dentist. They take great care of our mouths and teeth and they treat my whole family with the utmost kindness. At my children's most recent appointment, due to a last minute funeral I showed up with not only my children, but several of my nephews (all kids 10 and under). Dr. Evan and his team were nonplussed and deftly saw all of my children while happily chatting and engaging with the whole gaggle of kids. Everyone was unbelievably considerate and demonstrated what it means to really provide top-notch customer service. Thank you again to the whole team.

I came in for a first visit with my daughter to get a second opinion, and I’m so glad we did! We saw Dr. Evan & he was awesome. My daughter felt really comfortable & Dr. Evan did a great job. The staff was really friendly also. Definitely returning!

Dr. Evan is the best! He came recommended by a friend who also brings his three kids to his practice. I was in need of a second opinion of dental treatment, as my three year old son needed a fair amount of intense dental work. Our entire experience could not have gone more smoothly. Dr.Evan and Liz befriended my son right away and made him feel comfortable (toys, tv, tokens, explaining what they were doing every step of the way), which is not an easy task at the dentist! Dr. Evan took his time explaining his plan and our potential options during our first visit. When we returned to his office, I felt informed and knew my son was under excellent care. Dr. Evan and Liz worked at an easy pace and were able to complete all of the dental work he had proposed. He let me know what to expect subsequent to our visit and made himself available for any of my questions. I am so happy with the care my son received and feel very lucky to have found Dr. Evan and his kind team!

Everyone is very friendly, place is clean and pretty, and kids enjoyed their visit, however, they missed nerve damage to my kid’s tooth that required a root canal and never replied to the endodontist when contacted to seal the root canal. They chipped a tiny piece of my molar during cleaning and also urged me to get a crown, which upon two separate second opinions, and 2 years later has not been needed. This doesn’t mean that your experience won’t be great though.
