About

Tribeca Dental Design, located at 55 Murray Street in the heart of New York's vibrant Tribeca neighborhood, stands as a beacon of modern, patient-centered dental care since its opening in February 2009 by Dr. William C. Han, DMD. Founded with a vision to redefine dental experiences in the bustling New York City area, this state-of-the-art practice combines cutting-edge technology, sustainable design, and unwavering compassion to deliver optimal oral health services. Dr. Han, a distinguished dentist with an impressive academic pedigree from Johns Hopkins University (BS in Biology and Master's in Public Health), Georgetown University (Master's in Physiology and Biophysics), and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine (DMD), brought his expertise honed through involvement with the White House Health Care Task Force and specialty practices in New York and Washington D.C. to create a facility that prioritizes both clinical excellence and patient comfort.[1][5] Over the years, Tribeca Dental Design has grown into a trusted haven for patients seeking everything from routine preventive care to complex restorative procedures, fostering lifelong relationships built on mutual trust, respect, and superior outcomes.[1]

At the core of Tribeca Dental Design's mission is a commitment to providing the finest dental services in a patient-centered environment that exceeds expectations. This philosophy manifests in every aspect of the practice, from its eco-conscious facilities—featuring non-toxic, recyclable materials, green technology, and high-tech operatories equipped with the latest diagnostic and treatment tools—to its personalized approach that listens to patient concerns and tailors treatments accordingly.[1] The practice's operatories are not just clinical spaces but havens of comfort, designed with amenities that ensure relaxation during visits, making even apprehensive patients feel at ease. For those who have neglected their dental needs, Tribeca Dental Design extends a welcoming hand, offering stress-free experiences and emergency care to restore confidence and smiles.[1][2]

The expertise at Tribeca Dental Design is embodied by its exceptional team. Dr. Han's leadership, characterized by his passion, dedication, and compassionate demeanor, sets the tone for the practice's high standards. Complementing him is Dr. Dana Zwiebel, a third-generation dentist from northern New Jersey, who earned her Biochemistry degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her dental degree with honors from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Zwiebel's two-year post-graduate residency as Chief Resident in General Dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, coupled with her ongoing pursuit of advanced training through hands-on courses and lectures, ensures patients receive science-backed, evidence-based care delivered with a gentle, conservative touch.[5] Together, they offer a comprehensive spectrum of services, spanning preventive dentistry like sealants and custom mouth guards for grinding, to cosmetic enhancements such as Zoom teeth whitening and clinical crown lengthening for gummy smile correction, periodontal treatments including non-surgical deep cleanings, and full oral reconstructions for transformative results.[2]

What truly sets Tribeca Dental Design apart is its unique value proposition: a seamless fusion of sustainability, technology, and empathy in a conveniently located, stylish setting just steps from major subway lines in Tribeca. Unlike conventional practices, this office emphasizes environmental responsibility—from recyclable furnishings to green tech—while prioritizing patient relationships over transactional visits. It goes beyond standard care by addressing emotional barriers, providing palliative emergency services, and ensuring every procedure, whether essential for health or elective for aesthetics, leaves patients with renewed confidence and a reason to smile.[1][2] The practice's accessibility (open Monday-Friday 9AM-6PM and Saturday 9AM-2PM), insurance-friendly policies (accepting most plans with in-house claims filing), and flexible payment options including CareCredit financing further enhance its appeal.[4][6] In an era where dental care can feel impersonal, Tribeca Dental Design distinguishes itself by treating patients as partners, voicing their past experiences and future goals in private, confidential consultations to craft bespoke treatment plans.[1][6]

As it approaches nearly two decades of service by 2026, Tribeca Dental Design continues to evolve, staying at the forefront of dental innovation while upholding its foundational promise of compassionate, comprehensive care. Whether you're in need of a routine cleaning, a whitening session to brighten your smile, or a complete oral rehabilitation, this practice delivers results that not only enhance oral health but also elevate quality of life. Patients choose Tribeca Dental Design for its blend of expertise, comfort, and integrity—a rare combination that turns dental visits into positive, empowering experiences. With a team dedicated to excellence and a facility designed for healing, it remains a leader in New York City's competitive dental landscape, inviting all to discover the difference of dentistry done right.[1][2][5]

Dr. Han and staff are simply amazing. Warm, welcoming, and caring. I have had a few issues recently and needed to make a couple of trips, each problem was assessed and address and I walked out of the office with a big beautiful smile. I travel to get to this office and will continue to as long as Dr. Han and staff are in service.

Dr. Han and his team are by far the best dentist office I've been there. I've had an extremely positive experience every time I've gone there and would say he's best at making sure you have as little pain as possible. They are kind, patient, and very thorough with everything. They are very clear and upfront about cost when you ask. I've recommended a few people to this office and they all have the same feelings as I do. Definitely the best cleaning I've ever had in my 31 years of going to the dentist. I got a root canal at a different dentist in Brooklyn and had the worst experience ever and swore I'd never do it again. Decided to take another swing with Dr. Han and truly had hardly any pain (3/10 pain scale just based on the procedure itself). All that to say, I'd book Dr. Han and his team in a heartbeat! Keep up the great work!

Really happy with my visit! The hygienist did such a thorough cleaning, the doctor was attentive, and the whole team was friendly and welcoming. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommend!

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled after my experience with Tribical Dental in NYC. Unfortunately, my visit was extremely disappointing from start to finish. The staff seemed disorganized and rushed, and I never felt like my concerns were actually being listened to. The dentist spent very little time with me, gave vague answers to my questions, and seemed more focused on upselling unnecessary procedures than providing real care.
