Dr Ta is an extraordinary orthodontist. I met with several other orthodontists before deciding to work with Dr Ta, and clearly I made the right decision, she is simply the best in NYC.
Dr Ta first treated my daughter, whose teeth were a mess, and she needed palette widening. Dr Ta’s eye for aesthetics is unmatched. She thinks about teeth from every perspective, not simply about straightening them, but in a 3 dimensional way, knowing exactly where to push or pull the teeth, so they perfectly match my daughter’s face structure. Her attention to detail is outstanding, she cares deeply about delivering the best possible outcome for her patients, and is fully dedicated to achieving that.
She then went on to treat my son’s teeth - who needed extractions, and she has done a beautiful job with his teeth. Even my husband and I are now doing Invisalign with her. I had meet with other orthodontist for my own treatment and several said there was no way to fix my teeth without surgery, but Dr Ta really listened to my concerns, and found a solution. She has been diligently working with my teeth and bite, moving them into position, and I am thrilled with the results.
As well as her being an expert, a professional, and top of her game - she is an absolute pleasure! We all enjoy our visits to her, Dr Ta is kind, funny and cares deeply about her patients. Don't hesitate, she is the best!

Dr. Ta is an incredible pediatric orthodontist. She shared innovative ways to get our kids to be compliant with Invisiligns, and she also spared us any teeth removal! We're about halfway through both of our kids program, and we can already see impressive and significant improvement. I would highly recommend Dr. Ta to anyone considering orthodontics for their kids.
I first met Dr. Ta in 2000 when I decided to take the plunge and get braces at age 32. I had been told the process would be quite difficult by other dentists/orthodontists, and might include having my jaw broken so I had always been hesitant. Dr. Ta evaluated me and reassured me that she could help me, that she had a plan that would work without breaking my jaw. I still count meeting her as one of my luckiest and most life-changing moments. She is an absolute genius! It took 2 years and I could not have been happier with my new smile! She gave me a new outlook on life! Since then I have seen her as needed to check in regarding my retainers, etc and she and her staff have always been kind, welcoming and helpful. I just saw her today after probably 4 years for an adjustment on my permanent retainer and it was an extremely efficient yet warm and welcoming visit, like seeing an old friend. I would highly recommend Dr. Ta to anyone! She is the absolute best highly-knowledgeable and skilled orthodontist! A visit with her can be life-changing!
