Today was a consult and exrays. The staff and Dr were very helpful and kind. Also very thorough with my medications and medical history. No wait time, my nurse was ready to take me as soon as my paperwork was done. Surgery on Monday. So far, so good!

Consultation: I am very anxious about the dentist, but had an overall good experience! During my consultation everything went pretty well. The assistants were very nice as well as the receptionists. The surgeon came in and explained the procedure (tooth extraction) and set it for one week from consultation day. Day of Procedure: I have to start by saying my surgeon is honestly amazing at what he does. I believe it was Dr. Preceruti. His placement of the local anesthetic was very good, and i barely even felt pressure during the procedure. The extraction felt like it took maybe 2 minutes. Everything came out well, and he was minimally invasive. I will say, he is a very get in and get out type surgeon, which I dont mind. 24 hours Post Op: It is now the next morning. Everything has worn off. Virtually no pain at all, and very minor swelling. They say the worst is yet to come (day 3) but I feel great. even if the pain gets worse over the next couple days, I wouldnt consider it a painful procedure at all. The stitches are more annoying than anything else. Dislikes: The only thing I didnt really care for was, while i was waiting for the local anesthetic to work, the door to the room was wide open for the entire 25 or so minutes I was waiting with assistants and patients walking by. Maybe it was for monitoring, or another reason, but i just didnt care for it. There were also aisstants coming in and out of the room grabbing things around me and every time someone came in I was thinking "is it time?" Honeslty not a huge deal, just didnt help the anxiety much. Conclusion: Overall, friendly staff and an amazing surgeon, who clearly cares for his patients and his practice. Bravo Dr. P!

Comfortable, Great experience. The front desk all the way to the end, did not encounter one mean person. Extremely satisfied and happy! Dr. Preceruti did my procedure, very little conversation but made me feel comfortable! I'm currently healing, and the lovely lady at the end provided detailed after care instructions as well as the print out! Great place!

From making an appointment to discussing my surgical plan, I felt welcomed by all of the staff I encountered. They made me feel comfortable in a situation that is often anxiety provoking. The office was clean, well organized and the staff very knowledgeable. I enjoyed (as much as I could) the financial transparency and that I was told prior to my arrival what I was expected to pay at the time of the visit rather being blindsided at checkout. I was provided enough time to ask questions without feeling rushed. Although I am nervous about my future procedure, I feel confident that Dr. Preceruti and his attentive staff will do their best to make an unpleasant situation less stressful. Adirondack Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery has proven that I’m capable of not resembling a cat being dragged to a bathtub when leaving an office where my teeth were touched! I highly recommend this practice whether you require wisdom teeth extraction or corrective jaw surgery. This office is committed to a collaborative approach to patient-centered care; where safety, expertise and optimal patient comfort are paramount. It is evident why they came highly recommended!
