Customer Reviews
The office is clean, the staff are super nice. Amy is a great dentist. When I was a kid, I broke a front tooth, and had a bonded cap put on my tooth, which wasn't supposed to be permanent. I never went for the final crown because I always felt too nervous. Dr. Sementilli made me feel comfortable enough that I got the crown done and my front tooth looks normal again. 100% recommend her for routine cleanings, checkups, and small stuff like cavities, non-surgical tooth pulls, or crown repair.
I was nervous about having to go to a new dentist after my insurance changed, but I am so grateful I found Dr. Sementilli’s office! Her and her staff were so sweet and just made me feel at home. Their witty banter between them shows the rapport they’ve built after so many years of working together and it makes for a relaxing environment as a patient. They were very knowledgeable about insurance and Dr. Sementilli was great about answering questions I had and taking the time to really explain things to me. You can tell she loves what she does and I’d recommend this place to anyone.
They literally just hung up on me after trying to decide whether I'd be too late or not. Yes, I had an appointment at 4:30 at I would likely have gone in at 4:35 and rather than saying that it was okay to go in then, the receptionist pushes for me to cancel my appointment and then hangs up on me. This may be an oversimplification of the situation, but it's not acceptable for people just hang up on other people and force you to feel bad?? Ridiculous customer service but from what I can tell, very nice staff besides that one receptionist who just decided to cancel my appointment for me. EDIT: another receptionist said that she would try her best to call me back for any cancellations. I appreciate that immensely. It's mostly people, not the business. But it doesn't change the fact that the first lady was rude and it felt like she pressured me to cancel. Overall, I'd still go and recommend this place but one person there really has to understand basic empathy.
The hygienist is nice and does a good job. Got bonding done on front tooth and it lasted 1 week. Called back and she wanted me to wait 10 days. I went back to my old dentist and it’s been over a year and still good. She also put a crown on my nephews tooth in 9/23 and it is now cracked. Go for a cleaning but that’s about it.
After a tragic fall, it was necessary for me to have extensive dental work done on my front teeth which included a root canal, crown and a bridge. since I was extremely eager to fix my teeth, I went to Amy because of her friendliness and what I thought would be quality work. On my second appointment after the initial evaluation, she began the root canal and started prep for my crown and bridge. The procedure was very messy, they failed to clean my mouth consistently as they went along and I left the office with adhesive on my chin and around my mouth. My crowns came in the following week and looked nothing like my real teeth. They were bulky, uneven and the color was off. Amy kept her original promise to “let me send the crowns back a million times until i am satisfied”. The crowns that came in the following week looked very similar to the first crowns that didn’t look right. At my 9am appointment Amy took my temporary crowns out and sent me directly to the lab to work with the technician who was making my crowns. While there, they called at 11:30 and said they were going to lunch. I was not able to get my temporary crowns back in until 1:30. The final crowns that were made looked much better than the previous ones, but the color was not right and i wasn’t able to notice how different the color was until i was in the sunlight. After giving it a couple of weeks, I asked if they were able to match the color a little closer to my natural teeth. The dental technician who called me back was extremely rude and told me it was not possible without a substantial fee. I also had to call and ask for them to email a receipt and a summary of our plan for what we did to my teeth. They didn’t go above and beyond to make me “happy” because I am still not happy, if they went above and beyond to deliver my needs after paying them almost $7,000 then I wouldnt be writing this review. Besides the poor quality of work, my review is based on her lack of experience, failure to deliver product satisfactory to me after paying for it and poor professionalism while I was in the office.
