The staff were kind and helpful today during my appointment. Heather my hygienists did a great job explaining everything (treatment, etc.) to me, and was very helpful in scheduling my next appointment. She was very thorough, gentle and patient while cleaning my teeth. Also Briana showed me how much I owed for each appointment and made it easy to checkout. They do it all without me feeling judged or uncomfortable. They were all pleasant to talk to. Thanks for your help. Will happily continue to come back.
Chrissy my tech today was patient, kind and efficient. I couldn't have recieved better treatment. Thank you Chrissy and Briana too for helping me through today. My first visit to Aspen dental has been a positive experience in every aspect. I will recommend this office to anyone I know who needs dental care.
Josette was lovely! Keith was amazing got me in for wisdom teeth removal same day. Dr. Gabe was EXCELLENT. I was so scared getting the local anesthesia and not going under but he put me at ease and the procedure was so fast.
I called the 800 number and made an appointment. I offered my insurance information at the time but they said someone would call me before my appointment. No one called. I called the office and left a message. No call back. The night before my appointment, I was contacted at 6:25 pm for my insurance info. I arrived for my appointment the next day at 2:30 and waited for 40 minutes while others were called into the office. I finally asked how much longer I would need to wait and they told me to come around the desk where rhe office manager informed me that they had trouble verifying my insurance even though I had provided what was on my Delta Dental card). They had just resolved the issue, but since it had taken them so long, they couldn't see me. They offered me an 8am appointment the next day and when I expressed that I didn't think that was right, they said I could stick around for another hour and 45 minutes and they could see me then. I saw other comments about appointments before I scheduled with them, but decided to give them a try anyway. What a waste of my time. Any other dentist would have fit me in especially since I had brought my xrays with me and this was only for a consult for a mouth guard. It wasn't even for an exam or cleaning.
My experience at Aspen Dental was extremely disappointing. I went in to fix a lost filling, expecting a quick visit, but was told I needed a full consultation as a new patient, which I agreed to. The staff was friendly, but the visit quickly felt like a sales pitch. I was offered add-ons like a $40 oral cancer screening, then told I needed three fillings and had early signs of other issues. After that, instead of a cleaning, I was given gum measurements and told I had gingivitis and needed multiple cleanings before any fillings could be done. At the end of the 2.5 hour visit, I was presented with a $2,500 treatment plan, even with insurance. This was shocking, especially since I had just seen my regular dentist six months earlier with no issues. I got a second opinion right after, and it confirmed I do not have gingivitis and only needed the original filling repaired, nothing more. So instead of fixing my actual problem, Aspen Dental tried to sell me unnecessary treatments and wouldn’t even address the filling unless I agreed to their plan. It felt more like a high-pressure sales environment than a healthcare visit. If you want honest dental care, I’d strongly recommend going elsewhere.
