Getting wisdom teeth removed is usually not seen as a pleasant experience, but Dr. Boliere was extremely kind, ensured there was no pain, and provided explanations throughout the procedure. His staff was also extremely attentive and provided detailed meaningful post-procedure instructions.

I had 3 of my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Wun, and the entire process has been seamless from start to finish! I was extremely anxious, but the staff had calmed my nerves from my consultation appointment, to the day of surgery. The extraction sites have been clean with barely any bleeding. I had minimal swelling and no bruising at all for a pretty badly impacted lower tooth. I am very impressed and pleased with my results and I absolutely recommend coming here. Thank you Dr. Wun and staff, you guys are awesome!

First procedure in a long time. Front desk coordinators were friendly, helpful and understanding, my “nurse” was the same from the consult and was amazing, explained everything and kind. My doctor Wun, was thorough and patient. Hopefully won’t have to return after this is all done but would recommend to anyone needing care

Surgery went great, but everything else was horrible. Consultation took almost 3 hours because they were behind schedule. The day of surgery, the receptionist asked if my boyfriend was my father. We were taken back, but said no. However after I was taken to the back room, they continued to discuss my boyfriend at the front desk, WHILE HE WAS SITTING 5 FEET FROM THEM. Totally unprofessional. As for the check up visit, I had a 430 appointment, but waited an hour to see the doctor because he was behind schedule (again). When the doctor came in, he looked at the scars and said I was good to go. That only took 2 minutes. 1. If you are getting a refund, they will not call you. You have to reach out to them or discuss it at the check up visit. 2. Only book an appointment here if you have time because they seem to run behind schedule a lot. 3. The only good thing about this place was Margarita, who was super cool and amazing. If it weren't for my insurance, I would not have come here.

Dr. Johar was amazing and is not the issue at all. I had a consultation with him, and he was respectful, thorough, and very detailed throughout the appointment. My issue is with the administration and communication process. I was referred by my dentist, and it took over a month just to get a consultation appointment. Then, due to scheduling issues, I would not have been able to get my extraction done until more than five months after my original referral. Eventually, I had an emergency situation where my dentist advised me to contact the oral surgeon to see if I could be seen immediately for an extraction or at least a plan. I called explaining that it was an emergency and tried to see what options were available. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response until over two hours later. I was at work when the callback came in, so I returned the call shortly after, but I never received another response. Because of the severity of the issue, I ended up contacting another office that performs in-house wisdom tooth and tooth extractions. They explained how serious the issue was and were able to get me scheduled for an extraction the following week. I later called Empire Oral Surgery to cancel my appointment and explained respectfully that I no longer wanted to continue care there because I did not feel my situation was prioritized. The response I received was disappointing. I understand that schedules are busy and doctors can only do so much, but I felt there was very little compassion or urgency shown regarding an emergency situation. A simple follow-up call or clearer communication would have gone a long way and could have helped me come up with a plan. Again, Dr. Johar himself was professional and kind, but the administrative communication and handling of urgent concerns left me feeling unheard and unsupported. This is based within the Albany office and the admin that I was in contact with regarding the cancellation of my appointment I believe her name was Nikita.
