Never met a dentist who did not charge for a visit. He told me honestly that there is no need to do root canal. I was overly anxious. But I’m so happy that he is my root canal specialist and dentist! He is kind and friendly.

What a pleasant experience! My first root canal by another dentist was a 3hr ordeal that resulted in an error being made and my suffering for a few years afterwards with mild discomfort. So when my current dentist said I needed a root canal and he was referring me due to the complexity of my roots, I envisioned another ordeal. Cue Dr. Landau, who is very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Everything was so much easier than I was used to - less novacaine, less wrestling with dental dam placement, less everything. When he told me we were done about 45 minutes late, I couldn't believe it. He's a car guy, too, so the conversation flowed freely. I would highly recommend him.

My husband had a nagging toothache for two weeks and finally decided action was necessary. Ken is very please with the staff professionalism, procedure explanation, and lack of pain. The heavy work took about 20 minutes. We are very happy. If the time comes you need a root canal procedure, and I do not wish it on anyone, I highly recommend Dr. Landau and his staff. KRR

Dr. Landau might be a very nice man, but my fiance has gone back to have the same tooth root canal at least 3 times. I finally insisted he go to consult with another dentist, after they want to root canal a forth time saying "we MUST save this tooth". The other dentist said that doing another root canal on THAT tooth is like trying to do CPR on a skeleton. There is nothing to save. The other dentist, whom I have known 15 years, never says anything bad about other dentists, so he left it at that.. But my fiance has been in a lot of pain going to these visits and afterwards. His regular dentist finally acknowledged that the tooth was "broken" but she is advising "one more root canal" and yet another crown (this is the third in less than 3 years). This dentist has many, many good reviews. Just be careful. The average person does not leave a review. Where did all of these reviews come from? If they are real reviews, good. But just be careful.

Wish we’d gone elsewhere! Yes, the office visit was as pleasant as a root canal can possibly be. The staff and Doctor were nice and thoroughly explained everything and I was happy at the time. Several months after having a root canal here, my son had tenderness above that tooth. We followed up with our primary dentist who suspected infection and the existence of another root which was never removed during the procedure. We were referred to another endodontist who uses 3D imaging technology and, yup, infections in the treated root pockets, the existence of an additional root never removed (they said this is common in upper molars), and now he has bone loss too! My teen is now facing an extraction, bone graft, and getting an implant.
