NYU Dental – Urgent Care Ctr.

Customer Reviews
I will agree with other reviews, yes upon entering as an urgent care patient it is pretty hectic. They do need to work on roll call and clean that part of the experience up. The security guards were yelling at people to sit back down and once your name is called the woman who’s suppose to be checking you in won’t flag you over at all. You’re just suppose to magically know it was her talking. But once you sign in and get called, and register with your ID/Passport. They direct you to take an elevator to one of the three floors that take urgent patients. Then comes the smooth sailing. You get sat down in a waiting room and seen pretty quickly, the doctors and students are very professional and personable. I hadn’t been to a dentist in three years and my dentist did not make me feel bad about that at all. He was very understanding and empathetic. He also booked me as a patient of his for future appointments so coming in won’t be as hectic as it was today. Which is fantastic news. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for an affordable dental place to choose here. It’s clean, spacious, and has very precise dentists.
Absolutely horrible! They treat you like you're poor and don't even need good care, and don't recommend things they could if they weren't discriminating. They don't return calls on purpose, and are completely unacceptable!!! Very poor care! NYU Dental broke my expensive veneers in a regular cleaning and refused to take responsibility and tried to gaslight me that it was my fault!!!!! Stay FAR AWAY!!!!
I was sent to 5 different department. One women CALLED ME TWICE and started sharing medical information thinking I was a dentist, TWICE going on a rampage before I could say hello. The admin manager needs to be assessed because the front desk staff is truly incompetent and confused. I will be paying over 1k for my teeth because I can not get a straight answer from this place, can not book an appointment and have to look elsewhere now. I called a total of 14 times looking for one second of mindfulness to hear me. I couldn't get ONE SENTENCE OUT WITHOUT BEING TRANSFERRED, HUNG UP ON OR TOLD WE DON'T DO THAT AFTER BEING TRANSFERRED. I made online call back appointment's 6 times over the span of 2 months and never received not ONE call, besides the confused dentist seeking women How can people be so bad at their job???? This place needs some serious lay-offs and more community building in their department. Absolutely horrific.
Incompetent, disorganized and disgraceful. They do NOTHING, except look for ways to bill you. They referred me to a student dentist who was not prepared, then rescheduled an appointment over and over again. Biggest mistake was to use their urgent care. Go elsewhere.
They should pay more attention , they broke my tooth and they trying to convince me that it broke itself. Now it will cost 2k for a root canal ! I should have went to a regular dentist and took care of this professionally
