I was a student at SUNY Albany, when I needed a dental exam, but couldn’t get home to see my regular dentist. I called their office and they fit me in quickly. Everyone was kind and professional. The doctor spoke in a way that gave me the impression he truly cared about his patients. I appreciated it.
Nice guy who did good dental work and listened to me as a patient. Near suny Albany and near Stuyvesant plaza.
Amazing staff and a Doctor, clean office and open to answer any questions you have, will definitely recommend to anyone.
My encounter with him was extremely unpleasant. Firstly, he was very accusatory the entire time. I usually take extremely good care of my teeth (floss ~10 and brush ~3 a day), but since I got my braces and COVID-19 happened, I haven't been able to get a professional cleaning. He told me that I had bad oral hygiene and told me to floss/brush in a very demeaning way as if he didn't believe me when I told him that I do so already. One of my fillings broke and he tried telling me that I didn't have a filling in that tooth, so here's another instance where he tried to invalidate what I was saying. Secondly, it's understandable that some root canals need to be done by a specialist, but Dr. Mukherjee is not certified to do root canals on molars at all. I would want my dentist to be fully certified in something so commonly done. The secretary/dental hygienist was a sweetheart, though. Very kind and helpful. She was the one that told Dr. Mukherjee to check the rest of my teeth to make sure there were no other cavities (something that should be done regardless at a checkup, no?), and suggested getting a waterpik.
