The best experience I ever had, I used to be afraid of going to the dentist, dr unger made sure I was numb enough before he pulled teeth , was painless , no more infected teeth , I’m so grateful, I feel healthier, and more confident with my smile ,he’s staff are all very kind and helpful with making appointments so I can continue the plan the he has for me .
I was able to get a swift emergency appt by walking around 8:40 am. I am really thankful as I was in excruciating pain all night. While nothing could be done about my temp crown, I am glad they took x-rays and confirmed no infection or dead teeth. Over in 15-20 minutes. I was also worried about mixed reviews but the assistant and dentist (Perry-Friedman) were understanding. This was after 1021 Dental and Robert Cummings DMD refused to see me.
Dr, Kathryn Rothas is easily one of the best caretakers I have ever encountered. She is knowledgeable skill and pleasant a rare combination nowadays.
Not bad but the scheduling for an appointment is ridiculous. Phones are always busy and you have to wait till July or Jan I think to schedule if your new. Called in July 2025 at 8am and all I got was busy lines and no one answering there was no waiting queue. Called back January 2026 at 8am sharp and got in after waiting for more than an hour on the phone. Just booked another appointment but it's more than 6 freaking months out.🤷 I have to wait 9 months for my next appointment The Capital region needs more options because this sucks
I have to say the dentist I had was great, but the schedule is a nightmare. It is 6 months I’ve been trying to call I call every other day. I’m actually on hold right now I’ve been caller number one for 56 mins and on the phone for an hour and 35 mins. You cannot leave a message it’s a terrible unprofessional office management and unsafe for patients who need to go. I call different days of the week and different time. It doesn’t make a difference. One time they called me back for an insurance thing and I was so excited to talk to them and asked to make an appt and they said no you have to call back. Lol it’s actually ridiculous and pretty funny how they work. I’m still on hold first caller. When should I give up? When it’s 2 hours? I usually give up when it hits an hour
